Why is it called a Sound Bath?
A therapeutic Sound Bath, also known as Sound Bath / Sound Journey / Meditative Sound, is the procedure by which the body can be restored to health and well being, by intentionally using sound frequencies via the instruments, which can restore the cells to their natural state.
This Echo and Earth journey guides you through your own mind. The Ultimate aim is to calm the active brain state, change your brain wave patterns and your parasympathetic nervous system is activated, producing the relax response into a more pleasant state of consciousness and thus boost the body’s healing abilities.
Where is Echo and Earth located?
We hold sound baths in Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, North Shields and the surrounding areas.
Do you have a venue and would like to host a sound bath? Get in touch and we will be happy to work together to create a personalised spiritual experience.

No, just come with an open mind There is no effort required, you have the choice to lie on a Yoga mat with pillows and a blanket.
Alternatively, you can sit on the mat or use a chair. This is an ideal experience for, individuals, family, friends, work colleagues. We also welcome private group bookings.

What to expect
The experience of a therapeutic Sound Journey/Sound Bath varies from person to person.
Some people fall asleep, others have a deeper connection and it may help with a reduction in stress and anxiety, improved sleep, a sense of stillness, reduced pain and fatigue.
I start with a gentle guided meditation with my voice, which allows you to consciously relax and prepare you for the healing vibrational sounds. Towards the end of the session, I guide you back to the room by introducing some movement, gradually returning to sit. I will then give you grounding techniques and aftercare instructions.
Do I need to lie down?
Usually a sound bath is experienced whilst lying on a Yoga mat with pillows and a blanket. Alternatively you can sit on the mat or use a chair. An eye mask is optional. There is no effort required. There is some time devoted to breath work intention setting and a guided meditation and then you will be taken on a sound journey.
